What Is An Archival “Giclée” Print
Giclée (pronounced zhee-clay) prints are produced from digital images which are output by high-resolution ink-jet printers. Highly collectable, artists recognise the quality of the Giclée prints and they are found in the finest galleries and museums around the world. Including numerous examples of giclee prints that can be found at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City, one of the most pretigious art museums today.
A Giclée print produces the highest resolution and color saturation possible today. Making it the closest duplication of original artwork that it is currently possible to achieve.
Using fade-resistant archival inks on the best quality acid free archival fine art paper, a Giclée print will give fade and color shift protection for 75+ years if you display it out of direct sunlight and behind a framed display glass.
